Back To The Streets

I had planned to speak at the Foster Friess “Freedom” dinner tomorrow night, but I’ve decided that the benefits of reaching out to Tea Partiers are outweighed by the costs of being co-opted by the Foster Friess Foundation, an outfit which is quite literally committed to worsening our already horrible levels of inequality.

Instead, I’ll be on the village road at 630 PM with an appropriate sign. Those who would like to join should say so in the comments below, or just show up. And ideas for customized signs for this show of strength are welcome below as well.

One Response to Back To The Streets

  1. Pete–I’m dying to know how they intended you to speak, instead of the promised freely.

I dunno about waving signs in the dark after the guests have arrived. If I could write something short and pithy, I would circulate during the cocktail hour passing out copies, then leave. But I’m not a good writer. Maybe you or David could come up with something. Or maybe it’s a dumb idea. I’m sure some of my clients would be there, but I’m still willing to brave the gauntlet…
